The Heinlein Society and Arisia are once again running the Blood Drive; last year we raised 120 pints of much-needed blood. Look for the table in the lobby next to the Info Desk or watch for our folks out with clipboards.
Note that 16 year-olds CAN donate by getting a form filled out by their parents.

We have two slots still open for the Artist's/Author's Alley! The slots are Saturday 2:30 - 6:30pm and Sun 10 - 2pm. Slots cost $20 and are available to creators who want to sell their own creations. For more information and to sign up, go to http://2013.arisia.org/Alley or email alley@arisia.org.

The money made from the auction of the drawings done by Bob Eggleton and our Artist Guest of Honor, Roger Dean, during their Dueling Easels competition on Saturday at 7PM will go to the SFWA Emergency Medical Fund.
The auction will take place on Sunday in the Art Show between 4PM and 6PM.

There will a Memorial gathering for Tom Fish, one of Arisia's founders, at Arisia on Saturday at 4pm in the Executive Boardroom (3W).
Relatedly, The Westin Staff will be raising money for the MSPCA in the memory of Tom Fish (he loved dogs) by "taxing" their staff who want to wear jeans over Arisia Weekend, and we (Arisia Inc) will be doing a 50% match for whatever they raise.
